FOR OAK CLIFF

We Aim To Liberate Oak Cliff From Systemic Oppression Through A Culture of Education, While Increasing Social Mobility and Social Capital.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT FOR OAK CLIFF?

This year, we are launching our "Go to School" campaign to combat chronic absenteeism, a major issue in education since COVID-19. Students cannot learn if they are not in school. A student is chronically absent if they miss 10% of the school year or 18 days total.

Please join us in this campaign to encourage our students and families to prioritize school attendance.

Thank you My NBC5 and Candace Sweat for covering this story.

A superblock is a neighborhood sectioned off by certain boundaries such as streets or highways. Within this superblock is a center or main meeting place that gives back to the community. For Oak Cliff serves as the collective impact backbone for the 75216 Superblock, in which we aim to work hand in hand with community members to create culturally relevant programming!
